Access To Our Venues

Please book tickets in advance and advise staff of any particular requirements you have when booking – we are more than happy to help and advise you. If you have any worries, questions or require further information or wish to let the venue know about particular needs, please do not hesitate to phone.

The Parc & Dare and The Muni are very old, listed buildings, and we are constantly trying to improve access for disabled people.

 

The Coliseum

If you have any worries, questions or require further information or wish to let us know about particular needs, please call The Coliseum on 01685 881188.

  • Ramp access to foyer at the front of the building, with automatic front doors
  • Ramp access from the car park to the front of the building or to the side entrance
  • 4 parking spaces for disabled people
  • Lift from stalls area to bar
  • Wheelchair accessible toilet facilities
  • 5 spaces for wheelchair users in the stalls area. Companion seats offered free, next to these spaces – please advise the Box Office when booking your tickets
  • Guide dogs are welcome in all areas of the building
  • The main auditorium has an infra red system. Please book your head set in advance with the Box Office staff
  • Minicom line for hard of hearing people – (01685) 883769

 

The Muni

  • Flat access from the Goods Yard car park behind the building, to the front entrance
  • Flat access via the front entrance to the Box Office, Footlights Café Bar and Gallery Shop, the main auditorium and a wheelchair accessible toilet
  • Flat access from the Goods Yard car park behind the building, to the back entrance
  • The Goods Yard car park behind the building has parking spaces for disabled people
  • Flat access to the Circle Gallery via the back entrance
  • Up to 12 spaces for wheelchair users at the front of the stalls in the main auditorium. Companion seats offered free, next to these spaces – please advise the Box Office staff when booking your tickets
  • A wheelchair accessible toilet is available on the ground floor
  • The majority of the main auditorium is fitted with an induction loop
  • Guide dogs are welcome in all areas of the building
  • Ramp access to the Circle Gallery
  • An upstairs wheelchair accessible toilet

 

The Parc & Dare

  • Flat access from the library car park opposite the venue to the front entrance – please arrive as early as possible to ensure availability
  • Level access drop-off point at the front entrance
  • Flat access within the foyer and box office
  • Flat access to the lounge bar
  • Lift access to all levels of the auditorium
  • The main auditorium and meeting room has an infra red system. Please book your head set in advance with the Box Office staff
  • An induction loop system is in operation in the foyer and bar areas -please switch your hearing aid to the T position
  • Wheelchair spaces are available in the stalls, with flat access from the lift. Please book in advance with the Box Office staff
  • Gents and ladies wheelchair accessible toilets on the ground floor
  • Guide dogs are welcome in all areas of the building

 

Publicity

All brochures produced are available in a large print text version.

A duplicate, full-colour Welsh version of the season brochure is available, please contact us to be added to the Welsh language mailing list. (By opting to join this list you agree to receiving information occasionally about Welsh language events, as well as the season brochure).
