Driving Directions to The Coliseum
There are brown theatre signs in Aberdare for the theatre.
Take the A470 (junction 32 with the M4), passing exits to Caerphilly, Pontypridd etc. At the Abercynon roundabout (ie, the first roundabout on the A470), take the A4059 (the first exit) signposted to Aberdare. Follow the signs for Aberdare A4059, then Hirwaun A4059. At the Tesco roundabout in Aberdare, take the first exit, and follow the signs for Trecynon B4275 (Gadlys Road). At the major traffic light crossroads (at the entrance to the park), carry on and then take the first right in to Broniestyn Terrace. The next left (Park Grove) will get you to The Coliseum’s free car park.
Driving Directions to The Muni
Using the M4 and A470:
Leave the M4 at junction 32, then take the A470. Leave the A470 at the junction signposted to Pontypridd. At the very first roundabout, go straight-on. Move into the left hand lane and at the next roundabout turn left. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights and at the third, turn right between the Bus Station and the Police Station. Follow the road around to the back of the bus station and then up the steep one-way lane. This will get you to the Goods Yard car park at the back of The Muni. Go to the right of the building and down the small hill to get to the front entrance.
Driving Directions to The Parc and Dare
From the east using the M4:
Leave the M4 at junction 32, then take the A470 to Pontypridd. From there, follow signs marked Rhondda Valleys. ( Please note: after coming out of Porth, at the mini-roundabout that has the Apollo Hotel Pub on the left corner – take the first exit (left)).
From the west using the M4:
Leave the M4 at junction 34, then take the A4119 and follow signs to the Rhondda Valleys and Treorci, on the A4058.
Once in Treorci, at the traffic light junction that has The Stag pub on the left, turn left onto the A4061 for Cwmparc (Station Road), and the theatre is on the right, just over the bridge. Turn the next right into Dyfodwg Street and then immediately left to get to the free car park behind Treorci Library.
